packing up my dorm for the summer. i hate moving under any circumstances, but loading everything up when i know i'm only going to be coming back is even worse.
i have almost 170 books in my dorm room, so moving them will be an exhausting experience
(i have weak arms)

bookshelf
favorite book shelf: sylvia plath, tom robbins, jeffrey eugenides, jane austen, jd salinger, arundhati roy, jonathan safran foer, jack kerouac.

flowers
second favorite book shelf:
(well, pile, really)
daphne du maurier, alfred jarry, o. henry, charles bukowski, tolstoy

about to fall
books i like but don't love:
jk rowling, aldous huxley, eva ibbotson, george orwell, shakespeare

there are more in the living room, but i'm too lazy to go out there and photograph them.
2.5 hours of sleep last night, working on a drawing portfolio.
i'm hazy and sluggish and sugar-bumbled.

  2. oh, i'm so jealous! i would love to live someplace more permanent, but there's nothing cheap near campus, and i don't have a car. maybe next year?

  3. But you had such a pretty desk arrangement!!! I hate packing up too! Thankfully this is my last time having to change dorms every term, as of next year its only every summer!

And please say that it was Plath's The Bell Jar that was on your favourite shelf!!!
